The work is executed with attention to historical detail: Baroque-era attire, and a striking face that reflects intelligence, determination, and dignity. Thanks to deep relief and accurate facial features, Orlyk’s image appears vivid and recognizable.
This bas-relief was created based on a historical portrait of Hetman Pylyp Orlyk. The goal of the project was to translate the painted image into a three-dimensional form with maximum accuracy and respect for the era’s artistic style.
